A portkey is a fixed-destination teleport device that may be operated by a normal non-powered user. It may have a limited number of uses, and it may have a cost associated with its use.

Click on the portkey and select Configure

Destination The address of the region or region group that you wish the user to be taken to.
Area Code The area code of the region or region group. 0 for “any” as long as the address is unique.
Dest is a group Select if you are sending to a region group.
Menu Entry The text for the entry on the menu that activates the portkey.
Charges How many uses remaining this portkey has. It will be deleted on final use.
Ride Cost Number of tokens required to activate the portkey.

The number of charges left may be 0, which means unlimited.
The ride cost may be 0, which means no charge is made.
